After a brief stint in Oliver! as a kid at the Palladium when Barry Humphries was Fagin, it was pretty cool to work together again 16 years later on his farewell tour at the same theatre. This show featured many of Barry’s characters, with the inimitable Dame Edna appearing for Act 2. This show was fairly simple to mix but had its tricky moments including a live telephone call in which Dame Edna would call up someone in the audience’s mum for a chat which could go in any direction!
